Description

N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone (DMQA) is a green dopant material used in OLEDs, characterized by its yellow to yellow-red solid appearance. It is highly stable and contributes to the creation of longer-lifetime OLED devices when used as a dopant in a double host system consisting of aminoanthracene and Alq3. The chemical's ability to prevent excimer formation is believed to be the key factor in extending the lifetime of these devices.

N,N'-Dimethylquinacridone is used as a green dopant in OLEDs for its ability to achieve highly stable and longer-lifetime devices. The incorporation of DMQA into a double host system has resulted in OLEDs with exceptional performance metrics, including a luminance of greater than 88,000 cd/m2, an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 5.4%, and a current efficiency of 21.1 cd/A.
