Used in Textile Industry:Acid Yellow 128 is used as a dye for wool, silk, and polyamide fibers due to its ability to produce a light yellow color.
Used in Various Applications:
Acid Yellow 128 is used for light fastness, soaping, perspiration fastness, oxygen bleaching, and fastness to seawater. It has a light fastness rating of ISO 7 and a soaping, perspiration, oxygen bleaching, and seawater fastness rating of 4-5. However, it has a lower fading and staining rating of 4 and 5, respectively.
