GreatAp 126 is a water-soluble cationic polymer recommended for the control of aerobic bacteria, fungi, algae, anaerobic bacteria, and sulfate-reducing bacteria found in commercial and industrial water systems. It is suggested for use in cooling tower and air washer systems.

 

Recirculating cooling water towers

Prior to using GreatAp126-60 in recirculating cooling water towers, systems must be cleaned to remove algal growth, microbiological slime, and other deposits. Then make an initial slug addition of 27- 36 ML of GreatAp126-60 per 3800 L of water to provide 8-20 ppm, based on the total weight of water in the system. Repeat initial dosage until control is evident. Make subsequent slug additions of 6- 65ML per 3800 L of water (2-20 ppm) every 2-5 days or as needed. The frequency of addition depends upon the relative amount of bleed-off and the severity of the microbiological problem. Slug additions must be made in the cooling water tower sump.

 

Industrial air washing systems

use to control bacteria in industrial air washing systems that maintain effective mist eliminating components. Prior to its use, systems must be cleaned to remove bacterial slime and other deposits.

An initial slug dose of 99-164 ML per 3800L of water is required. Repeat initial dosage until control is evident. Subsequent slug additions of 67-164ML per 3800L of water should be employed every 1-5 days, or as needed. The frequency of addition depends upon the relative amount of bleed-off and severity of the bacterial problem. Slug additions may be made to the sump or to the water collection trays of the air wash system.

 

Paper manufacture

GreatAp126 will retard microbial growth that causes degradation of cooked starch used in paper manufacture. GreatAp126 is added at a rate of 25-250 ppm based on the total weight of the starch and water. The treatment rate necessary to retard spoilage of the starch will vary with the extent of contamination of the make-up water and the length of storage.

 

Control of mullosks

GreatAp126 has effectively prevented fouling by mollusks, It is used for the control of mussels and oysters in industrial and municipal water intakes. Prevent it from entering the water collection pipeline, water pipelines and pumps. Adult mussels are removed from the surface of the device to kill their larvae. According to the adhesion situation, 2-20ppm is added for serious pollution, for 21 consecutive days, until there is obvious effect, then 2~5ppm, adding 60 minutes, once a day or continuously adding 0.5ppm. It is effective with or without the use of chlorine.

Algaecide 60        

 

PERFORMANCE

 

A cationic non-foaming amber algaecide to kill existing algae, deal for eliminating black, green algae and Yellow/mustard algae.

Compatible with other chemicals commonly used to treat swimming pool, and can be used in pools treated with chlorine chemicals, and its use may reduce the amount of these chemicals normally required.

Exhibits potent antimicrobial activity combined with extremely low ocular irritancy, does not damage the ocular surface or tear film, facilitates wetting of surfaces (even contact lenses) and improves the ocular comfort.

DIRECTION FOR USE

For maximum effectiveness, pools containing a heavy growth of algae should be cleaned before starting the use.

Pools having less heavy but still visible algal growth (e.g. a greenish cast to the water or black or green spots on the walls and bottom) should be treated with 9 – 14 ml of Algaecide-60% per cubic meter of water. Approximately 24 hours later, the algal debris should be removed by standard cleaning procedures, including brushing loose algal spots, vacuuming the pool, and back-washing the filter.

For treatment of freshly cleaned and filled pools, initially add 5 – 9 ml of Algaecide-60% per cubic meter of water.

After this initial treatment, pools should be treated with 1.6 – 3.0 ml of Algaecide-60% per cubic meter of water every 5 – 7 days to keep them free of visible algal growth. Uniform distribution of Algaecide-60% throughout the water in the pools is necessary for maximum effectiveness of the product.
