The reaction of Quality VTMO to form a crosslinked or vulcanized polyethylene uses water to form the crosslinks. This technology is widely used around the world for commercial applications in wire and cable insulation, tubing, and other similar uses.

Quality VTMO is used for silicone rubber at room temperature. It can improve and increase the electrical and thermal conductivity, improve the shelf life of room-temperature silicone rubber.
