6459-69-4 Usage
Description
Disodium 3,3'-[cyclohexylidenebis[(2-methoxy-4,1-phenylene)azo]]bis(4,6-dihydroxynaphthalene-2-sulphonate) is a deep dark reddish brown powder that is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. It is a dye that produces a red color when dissolved in strong sulfuric acid and turns into a purple caramel color when diluted in water. The dye is known for its levelness and whiteness, and its color can be affected by the presence of copper and iron ions.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 6459-69-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 6,4,5 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 6459-69:
(6*6)+(5*4)+(4*5)+(3*9)+(2*6)+(1*9)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 6459-69-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
