General Description
Phosphonic acid,
[2,2,2-trichloro-1-[[(4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl]amino]ethyl]-,
bis(1-methylethyl) ester, also known as triclopyr BEE, is a chemical compound commonly used as a broadleaf herbicide in agricultural and forestry applications. It is a selective herbicide that targets and controls unwanted broadleaf plants while leaving grasses and other desirable vegetation unharmed. Triclopyr BEE is known for its low toxicity to humans and animals, making it a popular choice for weed control in areas where environmental and human safety are a concern. Phosphonic acid,
[2,2,2-trichloro-1-[[(4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl]amino]ethyl]-,
bis(1-methylethyl) ester is often formulated as an ester to improve its solubility and effectiveness, and it is considered an effective and reliable tool for managing weed infestations in a variety of settings.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 786696-40-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 7,8,6,6,9 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 786696-40:
(8*7)+(7*8)+(6*6)+(5*6)+(4*9)+(3*6)+(2*4)+(1*0)=240
240 % 10 = 0
So 786696-40-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

C-phosphorylated N-(trichloroethylidene)sulfonamides: A new type of highly electrophilic imines
Rassukana, Yuliya V.,Onys'ko, Petro P.,Davydova, Kateryna O.,Sinitsa, Anatolii D.
, p. 3643 - 3649 (2007/10/03)
A convenient preparative approach to previously unknown, highly electrophilic C-phosphorylated N-arylsulfonylimines 1, based on fairly readily accessible α-phosphorylated sulfonamides 5, has been developed. Compounds 1 react with trialkyl phosphites or ethyl diphenylphosphinite in the aza-Perkow reaction scheme to give C,N-diphosphorylated N-dichlorovinylsulfonamides 8. On treatment with O- and S-nucleophilic agents (alcohols, thiols, thiophenols), 1 forms addition products 12 and 15, the functionalized derivatives of α-aminophosphonic acids, while interaction between 1 and mercaptoacetic acid proceeds with intramolecular cyclization of the intermediate adduct to produce the novel 2-phosphorylated thiazolidinones 17.
